Modern and sleek, these extra deep steel planters can be used around your yard, deck or patio and serve as a wonderful accent or centerpiece. Designed for the urban setting these planters are great for outdoor applications. These Corten Steel planter are available in two roomy dimensions 16"L x 16" W x 16" H ($149.99) and 14"L x 14"W x 14"H ($139.99). Built with pride in the USA. These planters are shipped disassembled and are assembled from 5 interlocking panels with a screwdriver and 8 screws. Assembly time is estimated at about 10 minutes per planter. Patent pending panel locking design assures that planters are sturdy and built to last. These planters have distinctive sharp lines and edges and projects the custom built look and feel. Planters are manufactured out of bare Corten Steel and provide warm color and texture as they age and weather. The material will form a stable rust-like appearance after continued exposure to the weather. Corten Steel is reactive to moisture and will produce carbon runoff or staining to adjacent materials like stone and concrete. After the initial reactive period Corten Steel will produce less to none carbon runoff. If you are concerned about run off and staining place the planter on a tray. Special Note The Corten Steel planters do not ship pre-weathered and will arrive with the bare steel finish which will have to weather over time. To rapidly weather (rust) the planter, place the planter outside, wash outer walls of the planter with warm water and soap, then mist with vinegar. This approach usually produces complete rust coverage within 24 hours.
